I agree, though, that it is the philosophical weakness of Western thought that continually searches, even scientifically (see #Enlightenment) for #extrahuman sources of affectivity. Here, #SylviaWynter is helpful, as is #SaraAhmed's work on #QueerPhenomonology, and Anthony B Pinn's work on #BlackHumanism.
