Gregory of Nazianzus gives us some #SartorialTheology in his second Oration Against Julian the Apostate. He reports a cross appeared in the sky over Jerusalem after Julian's project to rebuild the Temple failed and left marks on everyone's clothing.
The diocesan museum at Albano had some papal vestments on display including these leather shoes worn by Pope John Paul II.

The Crown that awaits King Charles III
St. Edward's Crown has been used at Coronations for centuries. This is a ''new'' version, made in 1661 after the Restoration of the Monarchy.
The original was melted down under the rule of Oliver Cromwell.

as much as everyone loves the heavenly bodies met, I’m always sad that lynda carter never makes the list of favourites from that night
(her crown says “never forget” in hebrew and she wore a star of david on the back… perfect playing with the theme)

#SaintOfTheDay: Pope Saint Pius V, a Dominican, was the one responsible for the implementation of the results of the #CouncilOfTrent. He is also responsible for the tradition that #popes wear white. To learn more, visit @FranciscanMedia: https://bit.ly/3ldVZLZ

Theology 101: Sometimes theology wears dress shoes. Sometimes it wears flipflops. Sometimes it dons steel-toed boots, sometimes sneakers, slippers, or even skates. But most often it should wear no shoes at all, because it treads on holy ground.

Well.. I don't personally think my garments are a "protection" from harm or a shield, like many portray them as Magical Mormon undies.
To me, I wear them daily as a physical reminder of the promises I made in the temples to my wife and to God.
Plus they're comfy! https://twitter.com/StarkWheelchair/status/1646656584574210049

If God is the object of theology (ST.I.1.a7) then we can’t just find theology happening in a library.
Nor should we, as the photo implies, believe it is strictly the domain of habited men. https://twitter.com/RyanHaecker/status/1632013030526427137
