Meanwhile, our swarm hive is super busy! The #SaskatrazQueen is still laying brood like crazy, they are still drawing out new frames, but they don't have as much honey as we'd like. We are going to feed them as we are very obviously in a nectar dearth. 🍯🐝

Luckily we found the swarm queen (original marked queen that came with the nuc) in the bottom deep super and decided it was really helpful to catch the #SaskatrazQueen and keep her in a clip in the shade while we work. (I've sorta circled her so you can see...the #bees were protecting her. 😁) /4
