A lovely welcome to #Scotland on the #coastal path when you reach the northern most point of England just above #Berwick. Very tempting just to keep on walking... but we had an afternoon tea booked.

The welcome from us #sassenach bastards when you come the other way is somewhat less inspiring. It was, of course, a sign in Scotland from which I learned that Cuddy is #Scots for donkey.

Having been called a #sassenach by a Scots woman, then had a Welsh person point out that they say Saesneg, I've ended up looking up #Welsh words and found that we borrowed "Corgi" from the Welsh "dwarf dog"!
