I finally managed to decode a photo from the new Meteor-M N2-3 (Only 10 days old)! While I didn't get too much of an image, I think it was a good second attempt. Decoded with my #RTLSDR and #SatDump

I have been trying to decode some images from weather #satellites over the past few days and this is the best result so far! It was received by an #RTL-SDR with its stock dipole antenna and decoded with #SatDump

I am beyond happy with the latest version of #satdump
The UDP streaming of JASON decoded messages was the spark that caused me to dive in but I have to say, the rock solid decoding has won me over.
I am able to run lower gain and smaller antennas with lower spec'ed CPU and still get more messages that any other #inmarsat #STDC decoder that I have used to date.
(Of course, I have not downgraded any of the RF signal path, but its nice to know I could!).
