Pushing the #SteamDeck to its absolute limits is very… shall we say buggy. Pulling in excess of 27 watts in #SatisfactoryGame and averaging less than 100mb of free RAM (yes Satisfactory is using over 8gb RAM, other half is between system and VRAM). Crashes often from complete OOM lockups, but still certainly useable. Changing dedicated VRAM size has no difference that I can see. Interesting experience.

It's my birthday today! I just finished building this rad Lego Satisfactory Constructor MOC that my wife got me.

She ordered it using tools on bricklink.com, which can take a parts list and find vendors with those parts in stock from all over the place. The pieces in this kit came from 4 different vendors across 3 continents!

I started a new save in #satisfactory #satisfactorygame today, checking out update 7 after not playing since update 4.

I think my previous attempts to make a mega factory was a bad idea. I’m going to make decentralised manufacturing/processing hubs. Should be easier and my laptop will thank me for it too!

For those that don't know. I unlocked all the Christmas items in the Satisfactory Ficsmas Christmas event. Satisfactory is a first person factory building game by indie Coffee Stain Studios and it is awesome. In game, this tree is 40m (131ft) tall.

Finally got around to giving Satisfactory a try. It's a great game although I wish the updates were faster. This is one of those stress-free games that you can play with a podcast in the background, much like Euro Truck Simulator 2.
