Just rewatched the excellent #LastNightInSoho and thoroughly enjoyed it again. It's just been added to UK #Netflix if you still haven't seen it.
It's odd that I picked up on the #Paprika vibes first time round but didn't make the #PerfectBlue connection. #SatoshiKon was certainly an influence.
Between the transitions and bombastic style of this film and the musicality and action of #BabyDriver I still think #EdgarWright would be the perfect choice to direct the #Highlander remake.

Оказывается, с канала «DTF» из-за одного крысиного авторского клейма был удалён ролик о Сатоси Коне. Но «Луцай» отредактировал его и выпустил на своём стороннем канале.
На мой взгляд, материал просто замечательный и хорошо, что он полностью не пропадёт из общего доступа.

He is well known as the composer for some of Satoshi Kon's masterpiece #Anime #Movies. Kon even created film scenes to the music. There is the collected #Manga works of #SatoshiKon called "Dream Fossil" with an interview with Susumu Hirasawa remembering their work together. The unfinished film "Dreaming Machine" was named after a song and Kon had also the music selected.

The 2015 English print has an extensive and fascinating essay documenting its creation, hiatus, and the cultural context. A fascinating read in itself.
It doesn't even have an English Wikipedia page for some reason.
