@maxkennerly just to comment on the *size*: I visited the Kennedy Space Center and was in the Saturn V exhibit. They have an actual Saturn V suspended above the floor, so you can walk underneath it from one end to the other.

It takes...a startlingly long time! That rocket is HUGE.

To think that the SpaceX Starship is (1) 10 meters or so BIGGER, and (2) has TWICE the thrust...is just mind-boggling.

The 3rd flight took humans around the #moon; the 6th to a manned lunar landing. However, none of the 2 unmanned tests exploded shortly after lift off.
