This morning I am listening to the one of my favorite albums, #Savane by Ali Farka Toure.

Ali Farka was suffering from cancer and wanted to stay in Mali. So a temporary recording studio was constructed on the top floor of his hotel to record this final album. He approved the final master only weeks before his death in 2006.

Éclaboussures de jaune, de marron, d'ocre et de bleu. Poussières et herbes salvatrices, puissance de l'évocation. La #savane s'ouvre à ceux qui l'empruntent.
