Well #Saving80000GoldInAnotherWorldForMyRetirement was a fun show. Mitsuha was quite a subversive isekai protagonist in some ways - sweet, charming, and oh by the way completely and utterly RUTHLESS.

Alas for the inhabitants of the other world who only ever saw the first two. About the only character who clued in was the mercenary company commander from our world who I think sees her as a kindred spirit…

@shoshoctopus #Saving80000GoldInAnotherWorldForMyRetirement is very well written. Mitsuha looks like a sweet innocent anime protagonist: she isn’t. They show her doing her homework on medieval history society (which is good writing) and then they show what she got WRONG by still making modern society assumptions (which is BETTER writing).

Plus she has certain powers that the writers logically thought through the consequences and exploitation of…
