As an aside, I am not religious. I don't celebrate religious holidays. I don't actually celebrate holidays in general any more. The whole #SJSaxMas thing for me was all about music that was fun. The post isn't meant as anything more than spreading some fun music around. And besides, a bunch of #saxophones playing anything together is a reason to smile and maybe laugh a little which is healthy.

With all the talk about today's political events, I wanted to get some festive stuff back out there. SaxMas is just plain fun! And, I updated the article a little putting links to not only this year's San Jose SaxMas, but also to the one from 2021 and from 2019 before things got a little derailed for a bit.

One small gripe RE #Mastodon: I'd love a way to belong to/follow multiple servers.

I don't want to define myself/my feed _primarily_ by my predilection for #gamedev, #saxophones, being a #cto, playing #funkmusic, living in #bristol, or being a #parent.

I want to be _all_ those things without picking a single server to define myself by; instead I'm on a generic server & feel I'm getting the worst of all worlds.

Hashtag following is a start, but it's not as useful as multiple "local timelines".
