Turkey has been sending "improved, dual-use ammunition” to Kiev since Nov 2022.
These munitions are designed to destroy tanks- they break into smaller munitions, which can remain on battlefield for years, long after a conflict. Each projectile scatters about 88 bombs.
There are 100+ signatories to international Convention on Prohibition of Cluster Munitions- however, #Russia, #Ukraine, @turkey, #USA are not party to it.

Number of #German soldiers retiring from service has jumped by nearly 500% in 2022 year-on-year mainly due to their unwillingness to be involved in the conflict in #Ukraine, the German Federal Office of Family Affairs & Civil Society Functions says.
