@SazeracLA my favorite substitutions with Stiggins Fancy are a #Sazerac, an #ElPresidente, or half the base of a #Sidecar. Or really any drink. Put some Stiggins in there and it will be better!

#Sazerac owns a *lot* of brands, including #Pappy (IYKYK). #RNDC is also a *big* company: counting generously, they have operations in 38 states. So if RNDC really is screwing over Sazerac for tens of millions of dollars & restricting distribution of their brands, it's kind of a big deal.
FWIW, this includes control states like #NorthCarolina.

Sazerac
1/2 teaspoon #absinthe
1/2 teaspoon simple syrup
1 dash Peychaud's bitters
2 ounces rye #whiskey
Garnish: Lemon twist
Coat a chilled rocks glass with Absinthe, pour off any excess. In a second glass, add bitters, syrup, the whiskey, and some ice. Stir to chill. Strain into the first glass.
