Awesome infographic from @Ashley on the extreme, violent #KY #Kentucky #SB150. Beshear will almost certainly veto it, but the #Republicans have a veto-proof majority. This bill is not just devastating to #trans and #LGBTQ youth and parents but cis youth and their parents as well. Kentucky is already an extremely dangerous state to grow up and live in, but this bill amounts to an endorsement of child abuse. Again, I wish we had bold, proactive leadership like this in JCPS. At least we have someone at the state level telling it like it is and calling out bigotry and hatred so clearly. The Kentucky GOP is a clear and present danger to our kids and their education.
