Been thinking about how #SB254 a bit and what it means, I think for my own safety and my care team's safety I need to refrain from talking about details of my medical transition in social media.

And while my team is following the letter of the law (until its overturned) I don't want to expose myself or them to anything by saying something wrong or incorrect.

So today was the first major transition appointment I've had since the horrific #SB254 ban on trans care went into effect.

It was a good appointment, I got to spend time reviewing labs, history, getting my new doc up to speed. I got an education on different aspects and strategies for transition and on how the medical treatments work. My prescriptions remained locked by burdensome state laws and uninformed rules for the foreseeable future so we reviewed to make sure I was following directions

#Oklahoma is considering under #SB129 whether to make it a felony to provide any form of "gender transition procedures" to anyone under the age of 26 a felony.

Florida’s #SB254 will allow the state to remove children from their families if either the child or parent seek gender affirming care. This would also apply to children visiting the state. Additionally, medical providers will be required to state that they do not provide gender affirming care or risk losing their license.

This is a test case for what they want across the entire nation. It’s disgusting and immoral. Please take a stand against these bills

“According to the bill, the state would be allowed to take children away from their families if the state believes that a child has been or may be experiencing gender-affirming care. If the custodial parent receives gender-affirming care, then a child can also be seized from their family. The law would redefine living with a transgender person as an abusive situation. In addition, minors visiting Florida would be subject to the law, if it passes.”
