but I resent this characterization that it is the "latest example of international conflict coming to California" WTF???

If it impacts citizens of California how is it "international"? What a racist dogwhistle.

Of course the brahmins of California are trying to enable caste discrimination. What a shame. Please support SB 403 and get your assembly member to vote YES unanimously.

Caste discrimination may be invisible to those of us who are not South Asian, but seems to be a real problem:

"In a 2022 research paper, 24 of 27 Dalit Nepalis interviewed in the Bay Area said they had experienced some form of caste-based discrimination, including two who said they were forced out by roommates or landlords when their caste was discovered."
