Pat them dry, and then coat with oil or cooking spray.
Sprinkle on salt and pepper (or whatever spice blend you like).
Cook in the #AirFryer at 400 degrees for 6 minutes, flipping at halfway point.
Perfection. And not at all stinky.

TBH the morel flavor kinda got lost in the risotto. If we get a third bag with the veg subscription this year, I think I’ll do a light cream sauce pasta instead. 🤔

I'm so torn; I've eaten almost zero beef or pork for decades but I'd estimate seafood, eggs and cheese are currently about 30-40% of my diet.
Sigh. Baby steps. Scallops are such a delicious treat; I'm glad they're expensive so I appreciate them more. Here's a neat article about using "disco lights" to lure scallops (they have 200 eyes) so harmful bottom dredging isn't necessary:

Splurged tonight with some scallops along with green beans, onions, garlic & orange pepper. Wasn't sure which spice direction to go but was very hungry which made me focused, so am not surprised I loved the result. Basic salt, pepper & butter for the scallops; Indian spices with coconut milk & a drop of tomato paste to simmer the veggies. Success!
