Also one major "can't use" for me - regardless of #ChipShortages and #Scalpers - is the lack of a convenient #LUKS #Encryption setup in both #RaspberryPiOS and @ubuntu / #Ubuntu for @Raspberry_Pi / #RaspberryPi.

Not gonna argue the lack of @tails or official @torproject #TorBrowser but to make #FullDiskEncryption viable and useable, it just can't be restricted to external media or having to manually fiddle around, cuz that's a pain in the rear.

@Nolasox We need to keep our jam & animal band community as scalper free as possible. Only the Community can govern this (we know the ticket sellers Ticketmaster AXS etc are not going to do jack - in fact, they allow scalping directly through their own websites, where the maximum ticket price for reselling is allowed to be far higher than face+fees)

People complain when popular show tickets are bought out in the first 5 seconds by #bots and #resellers. Likewise for #electronics (PS5, GPU, etc.) Well allow me a modest proposal...

Use a blind auction for sales. The buyer places a bid and waits. 48-72 hours before the show, the tickets are assigned and the winning bidders are automatically debited from an account on file. Since the bids are hidden, the #scalpers risk 1)expensive tickets they cannot resell for profit or 2)none at all.
