going forward all cars are required to have a forward facing camera, and if the racing stewards request video while investigating incidents, drivers will be expected to cough up the video. #scca #RoadRacing

96 followers · 552 posts · Server en.osm.towna major part of my life for 25+ years has been working as a tech inspector at SCCA Club Racing events. i typically serve as chief of specialty at 1 or 2 events a year (at my peak i was chiefing 4 a year), and spent 3 years as the divisional administrator, which was mostly approving license upgrades and doing some teaching.
most of what we do is safety; there is less rules compliance (cheating) work than you might think if you're used to watching racing on the teevee. #autoracing #racing #scca

Continuing with Forza's FORDZATHON, we've got the 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302, a naturally aspirated beauty created to compete with Chevrolet's rising Z/28 Camaro and destined for #SCCA homologation. While its production specs claim a respectable 290hp from the 4.9L V8, it's known for feeling much punchier (and often posting higher numbers on the dyno.)
