Selection of #Minolta glass, all #manualfocus with an adaptor for the XT1. #IlfordHP5Plus is my favourite film.

So now the #workshop has defrosted I can get back to finishing off a couple of #dovetail boxes I've been working on as #christmas gifts.
One will have a veneered base, using ebonised Ash and looks like possibly cherry.
The other and my favourite is to line the internal base with a fine #japanesefabric and veneer the bottom.

Finally completed the set of #shaptonstones
These are a must have for #handtools with a sharp edge. The effort and time you put into learning how to sharpen, will be paid back in abundance. These are an investment, but you won't regret it.

New additions to the #handtools collection today. A trio of razor sharp #pfeil butt chisels.
Much shorter than regular bench chisels and perfect for refining joinery and small details.
10/10 would recommend. Love those handles, very tactile.

Squared up and dimensioned all the pieces for 5 boxes.
Made a start on the Cherry #dovetailbox - the thinnest stock I have tried dovetailing yet. Having said that, Cherry is a delight to work with.
