Foundation (S2E1) - In Seldon's Shadow

I made peace with the fact that Foundation really just borrows the setting from the book series. The show looks amazing, while the writing feels off at times.

Hoping that Season 2 manages to tighten the story. The nonlinear wanderings of Season 1 didn't help.

The narration around Brothers Dawn, Day, and Dusk are definitely a highlight. Sadly, the story of the Foundation itself is a weak point.

We'll see how this goes ...

Watched Life (2017) again last night and while it's a fairly run-of-the-mill #scfi horror movie, it's bleak outlook, excellent casting and intensity make it very watchable. I know it's basically a poor remake of Alien, but still, it's a film that I have a bit of soft spot for.
