I made this last year for my parents. It was a labour of love from start to finish. 
The finished blanket is approximately 240cm x 240cm.
218668 stitches made, 3438 ends sewn in, It weighs approximately the same as a blue whale :D
Started on 19 December 2021, finished April 1 2022.

Ok. #Fiberuary #colorweek time to join in with some oldies because I’m not starting anything until I conquer my fear of #sockknitting and time isn’t on my side for that just now. I’ll offer up three #crochet pieces I’m fond of - ripple afghan capris (with glitter stranded #yarn) for my brother, a gorgeous #Scheepjes shawl, and my queen sized blanket made during quarantine from the #Karoo #cal pattern as modeled by my kiddos.

Gathering wool (well #Scheepjes Colour Crafter acrylic) to get started on my #TemperatureBlanket as my contribution to the #AYYKAL23 #AYYKCAL23 #AYYCAL23 I’m going to use the #TriangulumBlanket pattern by Ellie Jones , and edge each triangle with a row or two of grey, before doing half in a colour for the hottest temp and half in a colour for the coldest temp each day.
