Next doors
Shouty morning
Where's my socks, toast is burnt
Your trainers? same place you left em
Argh mum
Slam of front door, they're late leaving
Morning melee soon fades
Soon be evening
School daze

The colt is setup outside the schoolhouse. He greets @mlp_Plotline before sitting at his desk.
... He blushes furiously as the foals stare at him, then goes back to reading. He was determined to read this book on magic and understand its meaning.
He might succeed. Maybe. Not.
... but there weren't any more questions.
Apple Scout looked over his exam. The other foals had long since gone and he was left alone in the schoolhouse. He didn't mind it, though. It meant he wasn't distracted and could think. *Really* think.
He stamped his cutie mark on his paper along with his name, then left the four pages of notes and answers, all of them stamped with #SchoolDaze for @mlp_Plotline to grade later before heading outside to play.
Apple Scout, after considering whether or not he actually knows or has met @mlp_Plotline's little sister, writes down the following:
Q10. What is the name of my youngest sister?
A10. Miss Plotline the Lesser of Haynglia, Saxpony, and Wagnessex.
The colt then thinks about the next question...
Apple Scout, after considering the implications of pan versus thin crust pizza on the burgeoning wheat futures market, writes down the following:
Q9. List as many character roles as you can.
A9. Uh, the mare, the stallion, the other pony, the other other pony, the griffon, the hippogriff, the mayor, the general, the lootent general, the comanderer, the magician, the egghead, the power pony...{the list goes on for about a page}.
The colt then thinks about the next question...
Apple Scout, after reticulating splines with a rubber band, a stick of gum, and a straw, writes down the following:
Q8. Is it possible to write a fictional story without any active creatures in it? Explain.
A8. Well, wes just talking bout the world bein a pony in a story, so theys not a creature. So yea.
The colt then thinks about the next question...
Apple Scout, after trotting boldly where no colt has trotted before, writes down the following:
Q7. True or False: You're writing an episodic series of novellas. You do not need the conclusion step of your story's structure.
A7. Its needed. That radio program has to end sometime, else you'd just have a bunch of empty air! Then you get yelled at by the station manager whos real nice but get their tail in a twist when the air dies.
The colt then thinks about the next question...
Apple Scout, after thinking about visiting the Brownian Motion Inducer later, writes down the following:
Q6. What can a character's apperance (i.e. clothing) tell you about them?
A6. Well, thas just rude. Lans sake dont judge a character by their clothes none. Might be nice people just hard up.
The colt then thinks about the next question...
Apple Scout flips over the paper and keeps writing.
A5. ...And then you get waked up by your parents in a nice bed where is smells like ants a septic and they yellin cause they happy youre okay. Cept you dont get grounded for a month cuz its a book.
The colt then thinks about the next question...
Apple Scout, after becoming the villain in his own story, writes down the following:
Q5. Your story is ending in a To Be Continued. What step of the story's rising action/falling action structure does that story end on?
A5. Oh this one's easy! It's a sudden runnin drop! Like when you runnin and runnin and cross over the top o the hill and suddenly you fallin and fallin until you hit the bottom ditch and it hurts, and you fall asleep for a while....
Apple Scout, after doodling comics in which he rides a dragon over a field of golden radishes and saves Ponyville, writes down the following:
Q4. What is the difference between a supporting character and a background character.
A4. A supportin charter just goes around doing stuff for the other characters, like gettin lemonade n such. Background characters just kinda sit around doin nothin.
The colt then thinks about the next question...
Apple Scout, after being jolted awake by his nose smacking the desk as he fell asleep, writes down the following:
Q3. List the Steps in a story's rising action/falling action structure.
A3. Well, there's the beginning. Then stuff happens. Then there's the middle. Then more stuff doesn't happen. Then there's the end.
The colt then thinks about the next question...
Apple Scout, after chewing on his pencil end too much, writes down the following:
Q2. How can an environment have personality?
A2. Well by like how it is. Hot sun can be real mean, so can cold wind. Rain can be sad, or mischiefus like some of the pegasi I growed up with. Nice days can be peaceful, if its happy. Night can be scary. Weird thinkin about the world as a pony creature.
The colt then thinks about the next question...
Apple Scout, after thinking very hard, writes down the following:
Q1. Write a haiku about the changing of any two seasons.
A1. Very cold, little sun / life springs from the ground below / blossoms coming soon.
The colt then thinks about the next question...
Apple Scout is in @mlp_Plotline's class and just looking like a deer in the headlights as he looks over the questions.
"Uh..." He goes through the list and starts to write down answers, even if he has no idea if they're right.
@zuul OK. I see the Greeks are represented here. Saw a Que just a few days ago. Any other Black Greeks out there?
