It's been a topsy turvy end of #2022 and start of #2023. A lot has happened, and still happening, many changes afoot, but certainly good news today with the acceptance of a #postdoc offer for an excellent young researcher who will soon be joining our #NewWorldsLab group at the Instituto de Estudios Astrofísicos here at #UDP.

I am looking forward to more top #science coming in 2023 from the excellent team we have here in Chile!! #ScienceInChile

Last full day of @mustapipa here in Chile @AstroUDP. We have been searching for planets, studying stellar activity, and looking at planet demographics for the smallest stars, but now it is off to find some Chilean trinkets to take home, and eat some greasy Chilean food tonight as a send off!!

Writing some sections of an #exoplanet discovery paper, giant #planets orbiting giant #stars, at 6:30am this morning, whilst also watching the first of today's feast of #WorldCup football between Australia and Tunisia, is the perfect calm before the storm.
