There was a recent piece in #ScienceMag by my friend @joncohen that suggested #COVID, #RSV & #flu are going to interfere with each other, but as we wait:

I don't mind the number of citations, only the lack of precision it encourages. Even more damaging is citing work for claims that are stated in the abstract and title, but have potential flaws in the actual results.

The policy of some journals is to limit the number of citations (30 for #sciencemag), which probably helps.

@HelenBranswell @joncohen Jon is the best, from the pages of #ScienceMag to the Goddess' ears. Pediatric ICUs are struggling right now, a "peak" cannot come too soon!
