Which physical constant is the most fine-tuned for our existence?
(in the sense that by changing it a small amount would prevent the existence of (intelligent/advanced/eucaryotic/whatever) life, but otherwise leave the universe mostly unchanged)

One of pup's chew toys is red rubber. My yoga mat is red rubber. When pup's saliva mixes with PB on the chewie and dries, it turns white. When pup's saliva mixes with water and it gets on my yoga mat, if my yoga mat is near her water bowl and she drips on my mat for example, it turns white when it dries. Other surfaces, not white when dry.
Why: rubber + dog saliva + peanut butter/water = white

Hi. Can #Science Mastodon explain why my shoulder hurts when I have trapped wind?
Is it correlation/causation or is there something biological happening here?

it's really cold in the PNW so indoor heated air is *REALLY* dry. I have a couple of those #ultrasonic #humidifier #diffuser thingies but stopped using them after I heard they put dangerous micro mineral particles in the air.
Does anyone know if this #danger is real? I understand the EPA hasn't said they're unsafe, but, y'know.
