Science Fiction fans of a certain age may remember the Eastercon that was supported by #Scientologists.

I don't recall they had any success promoting L. Ron Hubbard's ideas. I think there was a novel they were trying to get an award for.

Wednesday a court case was decided in California, a celebrity who is a Scientologist accused of rape. The way Scientology tried to block reports to Police is unfortunate.

My memories are very fuzzy. I am not even sure of the year.
