On the Isles of Scilly, there are many prehistoric monuments. This one is an 'entrance grave' at a spot called Innisidgen Hill, overlooking Crow Sound on the island of St Mary's.
Probably built sometime between 2000 and 1500 BCE, the ashes of many hundreds of people are likely to have been interred here. It's a very calm and peaceful spot still, with glorious views of the sea.
