I'm also avoiding my corsets for a while longer to allow my insides to heal more post surgery as I don't want everything velcroing back together, #adhesions are not fun

Just wondering if any of the #hypermobile #hypermobility #eds #scoliosis #arthritis #ChronicPain peeps on here have had any joy using shapewear, post patrum 3 part clinchers (theyre like elastic and velcro corsets or old school girdles) or sports compression leggings/shorts to help stabilise their hips or help with #hipPain and #LowerBackPain? Since my surgery the pain has lessened (woot) but I still have my hip/joint issues to contend with along with weakened core.

My friend, Lyrica, introduced me to this lake 🥰 We've been back a few times since this day. We took a small inflatable boat out & paddled to far end of lake. There was only 4 other people at lake at other end.

I'm recovering well from the surgery. My insides feel weird, I hadn't realised how much pain and discomfort the adhesions were causing as well as how much they were affecting my mobility. The incision points still hurt but I'm not in a huge amount of pain or anything. My general pain levels are mostly ok, have a trapped nerve in my hip again. #scoliosis #fibromyalgia #hypermobility #arthritis

Persistent sore throat, sent for an ultrasound exam and possible biopsy of a 'palpable mass' detected by the doctor - one that I couldn't locate. Sonographer found nothing to biopsy either but "to be fair, your neck is VERY lopsided".

Wore my #corset all day. While it no longer fits properly (joys of weight gain) it still works well enough to shove my hip back where it should be and hold it there, vastly reducing my #pain levels. I do plan on saving for a new size but it'll probably be the end of the year. Anything that reduces the AMT of pain meds I need is a good thing. I also plan on getting a pool membership just to walk the pool as a #lowImpactExercise . #scoliosis #hypermobility #fibromyalgia #arthritis

On top of everything else, I managed to mess up my lower back & tailbone by sleeping wrong or something, and I'm NOT happy. 😤

Niece is out of surgery! Sounds like it went well and she's starting to wake up. Apparently they keep her on an epidural for a couple of days for pain control. #scoliosis

My eldest niece has to have #scoliosis surgery tomorrow. Her spine is so curved, they think she might gain two inches from straightening it out. 😬

I like wearing leggings or shorts under skirts and dresses but sometimes even the pressure of leggings can be too much for my raw nerves. Chatting with my son earlier and I said something before it clicked with me. He was curious why I didn't go to a shop that I volved a walk and hills. I'd also planned some fun activities to do with the kids. Woke up with my neck and #TMJ screaming. Just a slight misalignment in your facial bones, spine, or skull and one week of rain you get one week of a nonstop headache with these kinds of symptoms. We've had almost three. Using a car ride to toss someone in #Cataplexy around like a bag of rocks to trigger it doesn't help.
