Personally I'd love to see one using like a methanol fuel cell for absurdly high range, low consumption and acceptable price...
But I'd also not be surprised if the cheapest option is like a 50cm³ two-stroke with integrated mixing unit to make it a scooter.

The Montgomery County Department of #Transportation, in collaboration with the Washington Area Bicyclist Association (#WABA), is offering adult bike classes in #September, #October and #November for #MontgomeryCountyMD residents.
The🚲 classes include both 'Learn to Ride' and 'Basic Skills' classes.

They're setting up places to put scooters and e-bikes, and apparently users will be required to start and end trips in them. Probably a good idea, but I hope they won't take away a lot of sidewalk space for them. It would be better to devote a couple of parking spaces instead.

Culdesac is a concerted effort to transform a windswept desert lot into the portrait of a #15minute #city. The company has partnered with Bird #scooters and the #carsharing network Envoy. They gave free Lectric #ebikes to the first 200 residents to sign a lease. The property even abuts a light rail stop. Instead of a parking garage, visitors can use any of the 1,000 bike-parking spaces.
