Sorry thaty was not my aim - I was saying that making out some simple policy tenet like #brexit is a cure for multiple ills & easily acheivable. Experience suggests otherwise.

To take another example - tho not a #scot I think independence is a good idea, basically because it is not part of #england - but I can see many problems along the way that have to be addressed if that road is taken. I have little patience with simplistic claims

One of the things I absolutely hate about being a #Scot living in England is how many people think it's ok to lecture me on #Scottish politics & history as if I'm some eejit that knows nothing.

Good luck - I have a feeling there will be more SNP=>Labour moves than reverse. #labour has just one seat in Scotland so it is hardly likely to make much odds.

#starmer very firmly #unionist - if I were a #Scot I would be for independence, but it means even were there a minority Labour administration after the #nextGE he personally would not do a deal with the #SNP

In fact if he does not get a majority in that GE IMO #labour should accept his resignation (but they won't)
