Decided to go into the office for the first time in a few months and the return train tickets have gone up to £14.30! When I first moved here 6 years ago, it was something like £6.70. I’ll keep working from home, thanks. Blimey. I thought #Scotrail had been nationalised to reduce fares.

@deltatux In other news, normal #ScotRail trains without any supplemental £££ fees continue to run the exact same so-called #HarryPotter railway with exactly the same views out of the windows.

(Sadly the windows can't be opened enough for proper photography, though. But if you dare, or use some proper strap that keeps it attached to your hand, you can poke a small camera or cellphone through the small top window that opens a bit.)

I’m quite impressed by the Passenger Assistance app. Fully #accessible and provides lots of info on available train journeys. I’ve arranged my weekend assisted travel and got confirmation that assistance was booked within only a few minutes. I hope the actual journeys go as smoothly.

The new #railway link near me is going to miss out a key level crossing / bridge across a historic walking route. #Scotrail really need to fix this while it's still under planning and easy to change.
