Beautifully carved sailing ship emerging from the stonework above the entrance to the old British Linen Bank building in Govan. This is a very common motif in Glasgow buildings from the late 1800s and early 1900s, and once you start noticing them, you'll see similar ships and boats emerging from older buildings all over the city. Few are as fine as this example, though.
