Sometimes it's fun to dive into the Utilities section of Google Photos and see what creations have appeared there over time. This panorama from sunrise over Buachaille Etive Mòr was a particularly nice discovery earlier today. From an overnighter to the hills of the Black Mount a couple of years ago.

Exploring the Whangie.

The Whangie is a rock formation on the outskirst of Glasgow. Tucked away on the side of Auchineden Hill, it's easily missed, but it's a 10 metre deep scar into the very bedrock of Scotland surrounded by boulders the size of cars and houses.

It was created around 10,000 years ago during the last ice age, and even on the sunniest days it can be a dark and mysterious place that's always worth exploring.
