First visit of 2023 to the path round the Lagoons between Culross and Low Valleyfield. Very cold but sunny, and tide high (unhelpful for birding). Best sightings: a Stoat running across the path in front of us, Great Crested Grebe feeding unfazed between shore and the line taken by huge vessels travelling to and from Grangemouth. Curlew calling, Ravens calling in woodland behind Culross, Reed Buntings and Larks on the open land. #scottishwildlife #scottishmammals #culross
