A lovely view from Alva Glen, once the short climb out of the gorge is complete. Although it was a hazy day you can see all the way to the winding in the distance beyond the plains and Alloa.

A super little walk, easy parking, sculpture trail and informative boards about the heritage of the area.... more details here

A toad on the road, gets a quick sniff, but the dog has never met one before and doesn't seem to have a frame of reference for them, so both happily shuffle on 😄

An amazing sight today as an eagle landed on a tree near the forest track just ahead of us and was harassed by the local corvid population. It stood its ground (well, branch).

As usual, dog lead in one hand, phone in the other so, you know....not the best photo... You'll have to use your imagination to fill in the rest 😄

...Whenever I remember to take the camera and telephoto lens I see nothing like this 🤷‍♂️🙂
