Can anyone tell me if its normal for a solictor not to be able to tell you how much their fees are.I am waiting for SLAB to process my claim ,they got paid a month back but so far I havent heard anything.Aparrently the delays were caused by holidays .But I feel as though I should at least know how much (from a £2000 disrepair claim settled before a tribunal hearing was needed) will be taken out in fees
