Made an ottoman with combo of scrap wood and about four cheap boards I bought at Lowe’s. Cushion was a spare from another 🛋️ sofa. So, all in it cost about $17 to make and took me three hours. Of course, my joinery skills are pretty rough. But it works well enough for our purposes. #furniture #carpentry #diy #scrapwood

I like making handles from scrap woods and more so since I discovered two things. It is easier to make cylinders without a lathe then I thought, and Shinto saw rasps. Amazing tools for quick material removal.
