En Josh verhuist naar Seattle, en gaat aan de universiteit studeren, hij heeft beslist te stoppen met muziek.
In 1996 stemt hij echter in om #MarkLanegan en zijn #ScreamingTrees te helpen bij hun #Lolapalooza tournee, en vervangt gitarist #MikeJohnson, en blijft een jaar bij de band, Mark en Josh waren sindsdien beste vrienden.

I still remember my first sighting of "Uncle Anesthesia" by the Screaming Trees as I flipped through the cardboard stacks at Record Smith, a local music store. It was an instant buy, just because of the cover. As it turned out, I liked the songs too.
This track is from that album, and titled "Alice Said".
