Search text in screen captures:
Useful thing in #Devonthink, in the Pro Office OSX version I have. As myself, you might have thousands of screen captures somewhere in a folder. It is difficult to search them, as they are in png format. In Devonthink, you can index the folder (it takes a few seconds), then bulk OCR all of them with a right-click, to append the OCRd text as a comment. Your text will be available for searches in OSX and in Devonthink as well. #workflow #OCR #screencaps

If anyone has #screencaps of #StarTrekProdigy 1x12 "let sleeping borg lie" drop em in the replies! I would rather use pre-existing screens on #MemoryAlpha as #Crave doesn't let me screencap without a blank screen.

it may seem callous to long time fedinauts, but I want to use them when _I_ think it's a good idea to use them. For pictures for common phobias obviously. Pictures of food and human faces, should I ever post them - fine.

Otherwise my content is more likely to be boring to others rather than upsetting. And I don't wish to hide my geek moments.

What I'd like to see less of from recent birdsiters are #screencaps, especially without text for filters to work on.
