Web Scrobbler is now a Safari extension!

No idea when that happened, but this makes me *very* happy!

I've been using it in Brave when playing directly from Bandcamp web site (and others), but not having to remember to swap browsers is going to be just lovely.

the really cool thing about #soundcloud is that there’s no way for me to #scrobble it and god my #ocd fucking hates that.

In my mission to figure out how to #scrobble my #HomePod, I’ve found an app called #Finale. It lets you listen to music and scrobble what it hears.

It doesn’t have any Apple shortcuts, so I’m not sure how to make this an automatic action on iOS, but this seems like a good start.

Thank goodness smart people have already figured out things I get obsessed with.

So far the #HomePod is a bit disappointing. Handing over music from the iPhone is a mess. It stutters and dies.

And the reason I’m handing over instead of playing natively is because I like my scrobbling stats. Apple Music doesn’t really support last.fm well, so I’ve been using Marvis to scrobble.

This means I can use the HomePod as a musical alarm clock but it won’t #scrobble, which sucks. I thought it would play a lot better with the iPhone.
