Any user interface designers out there know what numsaber of items in a list should trigger a scrollbar?
Even 60 seems like too many to look through without knowing where you are in the list, let alone the thousands!

Recently (methinks) it began showing only when I scroll up or down, then disappearing. I hate that both because I like to have it in my peripheral vision and because it's appearance and disappearance #distract me.
Anyone knows how to stop it from disappearing?

Yes, it worked. I’m relatively #NewHere too, having joined on US election day as part of #twittermigration. This opinion may be unpopular, but it’s mine, so I’ll own it: I think the #ContentWarning thing for #politics posts is a joke. Seriously, are people really that easily #triggered ? Isn’t that why we have a #scrollbar ? (Don’t like my post? Go ahead and try it. See how easy that was?) JFC.
