Having taken a quick glance through the hashtag, I've decided to throw myself to the #Mastodon pack of wolves, and post a #ScruffWatch.

A few trims since the pandemic began, but only the ends!

It was a #ScruffWatch trim day: had to clean up the beard for my Monday Zoom meetings.

I’m still in my contemplative mood re: my time on Masotdon… the best way(s) to interact, to try and remain positive, to avoid social media mental health traps, etc.

And no, I haven’t yet recorded a clip of my voice to share. I believe that means there are only three people on here that know what I sound like—for better or worse. 🙂

For Friday’s #ScruffWatch, I tried to do a callback to my original avatar, which was only half of my face 😁

Showing only half of my face felt like I was hiding, like I was protected behind the edge of the photo. It’s hilarious to think that my first bout of anxiety was when I posted my entire face all at once for people to see and judge.

And now I post it daily. That’s crazytown bananapants.

Hey #ScruffWatch fans, it’s still cold. I found a nice fuzzy blanket to spend time with, though.

And, a positive spin: the cold is forcing me to get up and walk around in order to trigger the thermostat’s motion sensor, which turns the heat back on. It’s good for my step count, at least! 😜
