@ActionRetro granted even the cheapest #SCSI2SD and #CF2IDE adaptors and cards will feel snappier than the fastest supported #HDD|s supported by said systems, simply due to the fact that they're #Flash and don't suffer from seeking and can handle random, small #IOPS very well - which are the norm on #Desktops...

Eventually this SCSI2SD case took 7½ hours to print, not too bad.

Unsure if I'll slap a lid on top, it's shoved in a 1U space in my 19" rack anyways so the insides should be safe from cats and whatnot.

The two old-school SCSI ports are exposed to allow me to connect multiple hardware samplers to it. (Yeah I really dig 90s audio hardware.)

Man, somebody please push me to use this damn #scsi2sd I bought a couple years ago. I have a Mac IIci I want to install Apple Linux on and a Bebox that's stuck with a 100 MB old-skool SCSI drive that is so small it can't even create a swap file so it runs dog slow. The intent is there it's just the whole follow-through part rt now 😂

Should I be exploring the hard drive on a #Macintosh SE that belonged to another person 25 years ago or should I just wipe it and start fresh? There's a lot of useful programs installed that I don't have the floppy disks for, so I'm tempted to just delete personal files and what-not. Also, is the upgrade to 4MB of #RAM worth it? What about #SCSI2SD? It's a pity it's not warm enough this time of year for #retrobright. Maybe come summer.
