Sleeping lions guarding the entrance to the Hamilton Mausoleum. This mausoleum was built in the mid-1800s for Alexander, the 10th Duke of Hamilton. The pair of male lions by David Bryce are just sublime.

Le discobole « Lancelloti » (marbre, IIe s.). Copie romaine d’un original souvent attribué à Myron, actuellement aux Écuries du Quirinal dans l’exposition "Arte Liberata 1937-1947". Cette sculpture fascina tant Hitler qu’il en fit l’acquisition en 1938. #sculpure #romansculpture

J'ai reçu les pierres pour l'affûtage des gouges et... C'est quand même pas mal ! Avec j'ai réussi à rattraper le fil de la gouge tombée et abîmée l'autre jour.
Faut que je perfectionne ma technique parce que la découpe laisse quelques légères marques mais ça recoupe comme dans du beurre.
