Magnitude 8.69 globular cluster located 26,400 light-years away in the constellation Scutum. The cluster appears to be about 12 billion years old and may have originally have been significantly more massive having undergone significant mass loss due to passes through the galactic disc.

M11 Wild Duck Cluster
Magnitude 5.8 open cluster located 6,120 light-years away in the constellation Scutum. It was discovered by Gottfried Kirch in 1681. Its popular name derives from the brighter stars forming a triangle which could resemble a flying flock of ducks.
