Ik bekijk #SDG doel 10.2 ("versterken van sociale, economische en politieke inclusiviteit en gelijkheid). De indicator daarvoor is *"Het deel van de mensen dat onder de 50% van de inkomensmediaan zit, uitgesplitst naar geslacht, leeftijd en al of niet gehandicapt." *Deze indicator moet natuurlijk 'zo laag mogelijk' worden, maar dat vind ik een vaag doel.

Zou de volgende indicator niet beter zijn?: *geen onderscheid meer tussen geslacht, leeftijd of handicap boven en onder de inkomensmediaan.*

This one relates to the UN Sustainability Goals, opportunity costs and development pathways, illustrating (qualitatively) what we lose as we fail to act with sufficient seriousness in response to the climate emergency and what we can gain if we take coordinated, rapid, sustained action now.

The cited 2019 work focused on how "to maximize #SDG implementation through their interactions.
The relative contributions of SDGs to global #sustainable success differ by " different factors.

The aim of the 10th of the 17 #SustainableDevelopmentGoals (#SDG) "is to “reduce #inequality within and among countries”.
That means narrowing the difference between the incomes of the richest and the poorest, on both a national and an international level.
The goal also proposes ensuring #equality of opportunity. Unfortunately, the world is clearly failing to meet SDG 10.
The letter’s authors go further, saying that the goal is being “largely ignored”." [1]

#SDG-doel 12.C stelt dat het subsidiëren van fossiele brandstoffen inefficiënt is, omdat het onverstandige productie en consumptie stimuleert en de markt vervormd door betere alternatieven op een achterstand te zetten.
Nederland besteedde in 2020 0,04% van het BBP aan subsidie van fossiele brandstoffen, dat is $19,13 per inwoner per jaar. In 2015 was dit nog resp. 0,02% en $10,23. Ik begrijp niet waarom we dit (in toenemende mate) doen, want we weten toch dat het niet goed is voor onze toekomst?
