Because of the work by the community, you can't compare Java from the early days with the versions that have been released every 6 months since 2018. And with excellent tools like #jshell, #jpackage, #jbang, #sdkman, plugins by @gluonhq, and many more, the developer experience has seen a tremendous evolution.

TIL that I still had the #SDKman flag for rosetta2 compatibility set. What a strange UX choice to list all the #Java SDKs without saying it includes (or only consists of?) emulated candidates.

@preslavrachev been using #sdkman happily for years on Mac… and yes super easy to operate SDKs this way 🤓👏🏼

Im letzten Beitrag wurde ein erster Bot für Mastodon erstellt. Der Bot postet mittlerweile drei mal täglich um 8:00, 12:00 und 16:00 Uhr ein englischsprachiges Zitat auf Mastodon. Obwohl die Anwendung schon hinreichend arbeitet, fehlen noch Kleinigkeiten zum dauerhaften Einsatz.
