A mix of rain and clear as the front passed during the journey home from #SEAAerospaceBBQ. Pics in central Oregon and entering California at Siskiyou Summit.
What an evening yesterday celebrating at the Seattle Aerospace BBQ. Thank you to my staff, donors of prizes, & everyone that attended to make it a memorable night! #SEAAerospaceBBQ

Our #alaskaairlines jet needed de-icing prior to takeoff from Logan. Have officially returned to the West Coast for #SEAAeroSpaceBBQ!

First stop of the day as I head to #SEAAerospaceBBQ I started in Tuscaloosa at 1am Central this morning
Second leg towards #SEAAeroSpaceBBQ, slightly less unique flight on the always reliable ‘single-deck’ 739. Thx for the lift AlaskaAir!
I arrived this afternoon for #SEAAerospaceBBQ, which is organized by Isaac @JetCityStar . I stopped in Renton for lunch. Seen here are both sides of the 737 factory. Fuselages arrive by rail on one side, and exit as complete airplanes through a gate to #KRNT airfield. The ones seen here haven't flown yet - they fly to Boeing Field #KBFI for testing & delivery. #aviation #avgeek

First leg on my way to @JetCityStar’s #SEAAeroSpaceBBQ, on the all so rare 4-engined ‘double-decker’ A340-600. (There’s a lower deck bathroom in Economy.)
We’re on DL867 (N920DU) to Seattle ahead of Saturday’s #SEAAerospaceBBQ; aircraft are currently departing on MSP’s 35, which is extremely unusual. It’ll be closed, per NOTAM, 9:40-10:00 AM… no worries though, the other three runways will be shut down for longer.
