Record release of the endangered White's seahorse in Sydney Harbour
The seahorse was listed as endangered in 2020. Habitat destruction and repeat run off events have hastened the species demise in Sydney Harbour and Port Stephens.

Seagrass meadows off Chesapeake Bay in the US have seen a switch in dominance between eelgrass and widgeongrass. The widgeongrass is much less stable and not so effective at carbon capture, but it's quick expansion is better than nothing. And understanding the differences and how they interact in changing waters is very important, globally.
